last year, minny had 289 carries go to the rb's , good for just 6 rush tds, and only 4 rec tds among them..kinda poor in my eyes..
factor that with 89 rushes for duante, too..

minny's rb situation isn't all that great..thats for sure..

I'd steer clear..

I wouldn't trust anything written in the St. Paul Pioneer Press.

Moore put up over 600 combined yards in 3 games last year. Given the chance, I think he could put up huge numbers this year, if CPep gets his passing game going without Moss.

Actually 537 yds total with 0 TDs. Even Flutie puts up great #s when he is only limited to a few games. Those yds were also put up against N.O., HOU, & the "Iron Wall" that was my Titans D last year. Moore would be average at best even if he was the main man.

Mike Tice would prolly flip flop to his own kids.

"I just bought tickets to California for the offseason. We're going to Disneyland!"

"YAAAAY DAAAD!!!!"

/queue mom

"Did you just tell our children we're going to Disneyland?"

"No. No....we're all on the same page now. We're going to Aunt Becky's in Virginia."

:-?

Minnesota seems to share more with Denver than just a RB conundrum.
From a fantasy perspective, Tice is behaving like a Shanahan disciple ...
... who thinks he's ready to challenge the master.

While they both "challenge" our patience, at least Shanny settles on one guy.

For the time being. Lets give Shanny a couple weeks. At least Shanny doesn't flip-flop as much as Tice.

Bennett is the most overrated rb in fantasy history. He's scored, what, 9 td's in his career?

His speed blinds new suckers every year.

more fun to make mewelde mo(o)re dear to his owners:

http://www.startribune.com/stories/508/5581830.html

"On Friday, Mewelde Moore swept right end on his first carry, swerved through defenders and went for 16 yards. Moore is the people's choice in the running back competition, so the Metrodome occupants screeched happily at this result.

He had five more carries for a total of 5 yards, then left because of a sprained left ankle. Coach Mike Tice called it a "mild sprain" after the game.

We'll see. Moore missed six weeks because of a sprain of that same ankle last season. That earned him a reputation as a slow healer at Winter Park.

Tice spent the offseason rehashing Moore's rookie season and chose before training camp to commit himself to Michael Bennett as the No. 1 running back.

Bennett had 19 yards in 12 exhibition carries before suffering a sprained neck last week against the New York Jets. This caused Tice to announce this week that Bennett was out for the season opener and Moore would be the starter.

Now what?

Moore said not to worry -- he'll be available. "I don't have any pain," he said in the locker room. "I think I'll be all right.""
