The Lions WR's have loads of athletic ability and potential, but as a squad they haven't really done much yet. They're a slightly better version of the Cardinals really.
The Raiders have Moss, yes. But really as a unit they're not that much better than the Vikings were last year, and the Vikes weren't considered the best group out there.
Teams like Rams and Colts are the guys that should be being matched up here.
I think it was the best between the two teams, but I agree.
Holy crap! The Jets haven't even been mentioned yet and even giving up Santana Moss, they're clearly one of the best receiving cores in the business. Coles, McCareins, Chrbet, Cotchery, Carter. Are you freakin' kidding me?!?!?!
i just want to jump in for my bengals one more time.
in addition to those listed previously (cj, housh, washington, warrick(?)), the two guys in this year's draft are supposed to be phenomenal. i've seen chris henry play a little bit this preseason--he's incredible--but have not seen tab perry.
what i'm saying is that, when taking depth into consideration, you really have to look at the bengals.
now, lions vs. raiders, i have to go with the latter. still, i'd rather have my bengals corps (note the spelling, folks! )
WR "cores" - who cares what their internal organs are like??? Now, if we're discussing WR "corps", it's pretty close but I'll give the Raiders the edge.

FB, It started out as the Raiders and Lions. But i decided to expand the topic so I edited the Title to draw more opinions.
yeah the whole spelling thing has me scratching my head at the time. Oh well.

I really do not see how the Colts fell out of this race. Harrison for the most part, isn't that far off from Moss. Wayne is clearly better than Porter, and Stokely has performed better than either of the Raiders #3s. And Edge is a better pass catcher than Jordan and Dallas Clark is a better TE then whoever the heck is the TE in Oakland.
