Nothing should ever be changed after a draft unless the majority of the league votes on it. Even then, that's risky, people draft based on what they think the season will look like.

Sounds like there was good reason for the change and it wasn't anything shady. If 11 of 12 owners are fine with it, let it stand and enjoy the season.

Divisions don't matter IMO.

If you're not good enough to win, it doesn't matter what division you get placed in. I would like to hear some reasoning behind it (which the commish has) just to make sure he is not putting himself into the division full of retards.... But in any other case I wouldn't really care or make a big deal out of it.

The commish could make the divisions before the draft, knowingly putting the newbies all in a division with himself without anyone being the wiser. That's just the way it turns out sometimes, but if you have the best team more likely than not you'll be in the playoffs anyways.

if that's all that's going on, this is (or at least should be) a complete non-issue. as the person above said, enjoy your season.

Ok now that you have explained yourself better it makes sense. In our league the league can change something with the majority vot 7-5. If it was supposed to happen but didn't you should be held accountable...Fine yourself, five bucks, put it in the kitty and say " my bad", and be done with it! No biggie if they knew it was coming.

i talked with him already and knew that was what his reasoning was but it still seemed pretty fishy to me, the new guy. I know hes pry not trying to screw me but i didnt want to take any chances.
