The real reason J Lewis isn't playing tonight

Jamal Lewis is reportedly sitting out of tonight's game because he's unhappy about Baltimore's plans to use the 'franchise' tag on him.
It looks like Lewis may not get his long-term deal after all. He's reportedly staging a mild protest about the development, but will play once the season starts. Aug. 2

Didn't he just rest for 6 months in prison?

I'm really starting to hate this guy. I kept him for the second time this year, so this will be my third season with him and he has been nothing but problems since the first year I had him (2000+ yds). Sorry just had to get that out. So the bone spur is BS now? or what? I think he just made his way to the trading block for me.

Maybe he was too busy letting you be the receiver to get that rest.

Same here, although I don't think i'll trade him. He's too good a back.

A bonme spur is always BS. It is the equivalent of stubbing your toe. I think it is just a way to cover other things up.

as a J Lewis owner, I see this as good news. He's not really hurt and has a major chip on his shoulder....I'm all-of-a-sudden in a good mood.
