Bill Simmons' Top 40 picks

Postby nikku88 » Fri Aug 26, 2005 5:44 pm

I'm a big fan of his writing. His picks aren't great, but we don't read him for his insight. ;-)

I like the shot at ESPN's draft.

Man that was one or the worst top 40s I've seen.

KJ 24 and DD 27. Man I'd love to play in a money league with this guy.

and i'm sure he'd love to play you for money, as well. this is a guy who eats, sleeps, and craps sports. you put up your top 40, with justification for each pick, and if it lasts a day without someone pissing on it, then you can call yourself the fantasy football superior.

i mean, seriously... do you regularly read bill simmons' columns? he knows his stuff. personally, i like domanick's total yardage potential this season, but i wouldn't call myself more knowledgable about football, fantasy or not, than simmons.

Yeah this guy knows his stuff alright.

All right, as long as you're cool with me preparing my list for a 10-man league instead of a 12-man league. Why would anyone be in a 12-man league? Just kick out the two biggest losers and go with 10 teams like everyone else.

Funny stuff right here.

Simmons is hilarious, something about his humor just makes me laugh.

yeh, humour tends to do that.

Dont like SImmon's rankings at all, but his articles are always a good read. Love reading his NBA work, and i even skim over the baseball stuff.
