Yes.... BP merged with Amoco about 10 years ago, and many Amoco stations changed over to become BP stations and vice-versa.....

Ugh, usually the money you try to save by driving to a slightly cheaper station you just end up using it all up finding one of those smaller stations.

I always plan my commute through the cheap gas station route, it's too far out of my way, nor really out of my way at all.
It's all about the planning and execution.

I have been told that in England/Scotland, almost no one has an SUV...everyone has one of those economy cars because gas is like $5 a gallon. Unfortuantely for us, the land of excess has cause excessive gas prices.

i was in france for 2 weeks 2 years ago and only saw 1 SUV the entire time. it was definitely weird for me

I'd say it's about time to put some serious money into Honda and Toyota stocks.
I work at a company of only about 20 people, but most have 40 minute+ commutes, and just about all of them drive SUVs or full size trucks.
They're getting killed, and getting sick of it. Several people are already looking into getting rid of their SUVs.
The days of the fashionable 12 mpg grocery-getter may be coming to a close.
