New to this, so im using Macromedia Fireworks, but...

I cant get the file to be small enough

It wont let me save it as anything other than a .png

I made it a 400x100 pixels, and it sucks cuz i like what i made

No offense to paul for making me that sig, i just got interested in making my own, and since it was my own im trying hard to get it shown.

If anyone knows how to help me, or can take the file, and convert it themselves or something, let me know.

I just made the sig today, and i have 0 experience, it took me a while to make but it didnt come out that bad, i dont know much about file types, ive never seen a .png before (maybe macromedia specific). Please, if you can, help me out!

i like the black better, with the names on it. the blue one looks cool, but for some reason i keep thinking the middle thing is an island surrounded by water

the names fill in a gap that looks empty without them there...

how i downsized it was easy, but i used photoshop.

i saved your image as a bitmap on my computer, then used the "save for web" feature and changed the format to jpeg.
