For the most part, Pitt ended up being a bust last year. Wait a few weeks before you decide.

I drafted Pitt high last year and they ended up being horrible with Pass defense. I dropped them, and the team that picked them up played them against me in week 16 for the championship. I was winning by 21 points going into Monday night. The only player left to play on both team's was Pittsburgh's D. Friggin Brad Johnson sits out and Sean King proceeds to throw an interception return for a touchdown. Then, Johnson replaces him and proceeds to gets sacked like 10 times.

I ultimately lost the championship game by two points because Brad Johnson sat out.

Also, Friggin Fred Taylor leaving on the first series gave me a whopping 1 point for the day.

let's not be too hasty with saying how bad Pitts D is.
it really depends on how your league scores DEF/SP

3rd in sacks
4th in yardage
6th in takeaways

.
16th in Points

If you have a DEF scoring system that doesnt award or penalize for opponent's scoring then this team is top 5 easy.

I would be willing to bet that Pittsburgh will be your starting D throughout the season.
