I was never impying that they would go 8-0. However, if you are in need of a TV (and live in the MA area), then why not take them up on their offer? The most that you have to lose is... nothing.

Besides, I live in Cali. I won't be traveling to MA any time soon to buy another TV. I just thought that the offer was cool. You don't see too many incentives like this every day.

That's a brutal schedule. If it weren't NE, I would almost say they could LOSE all 8.

That's a pretty good gimmick to get people to buy TV's from them, since the average fan might not know that the pats will have a hard time doing that due to the schedule and asst. coaching changes

Does anybody recall a couple years back (I think around 99 or 00) there was a HUGE write-up about some electronics/home-furnishings store that offered free purchases up to a couple $K worth if the Chiefs blanked Cincinnati in an upcoming game... KC ended up shutting them out and the store's insurance (because of course this kind of wager is insured) took it in the azz with a ton of free stuff that week.... Anybody else remember this one?
