As I mentioned above I am sure the store has some sort of insurance for this... So the insurance company will be the one getting shafted and I don't know about you but I am all for that!

Does anybody recall a couple years back (I think around 99 or 00) there was a HUGE write-up about some electronics/home-furnishings store that offered free purchases up to a couple $K worth if the Chiefs blanked Cincinnati in an upcoming game... KC ended up shutting them out and the store's insurance (because of course this kind of wager is insured) took it in the azz with a ton of free stuff that week.... Anybody else remember this one?

I was going to bring up the same thing. I lived in Kansas during that time. I watched the game just to see if they shut em out.

i think it is a smart idea since i dont think they have a chance of starting 8-0 whatever i mean it might be worth the risk though i am not doing dont trust it

It's a lot bolder to pick the Pats rather than to say "if da Bears go 8-0..."

Afterall, if there's any team that can start 8-0 this year, New England has got to be one of the top teams that has a chance.
