...yeah, he hasn't gotten much respect, even though he was great in college. i think playing on dallas left him with the 'bust' tag - and much like travis taylor, he now is in a new situation better fit for him (although taylor's is much better than bryant's). i think cleveland may be rather efficient this year and could surprise people. they won't be going anywhere - not in a division with the steelers and ravens...but i think they'll be a much smarter and more well run organization now, and that'll show on the field.
side note - i'd translate this to a decent year for phil dawson. he may be a pretty good sleeper. not all great kickers are on powerhouses - look at some of the stats stover and kasey have put up when their teams were 'efficient'. again - i'm not saying he'll be anywhere near the pro-bowl...but i think dawson and cleveland overall will be better than expected and will have some modestly good players (even for fantasy).
Yeah i think bryant is a good reciever who could break out this year now that hes got a gb to throw him the ball. There was never really a stable qb in place in dallas and none of the recievers produced because of this. They didnt even have a run game there till last year. And while the browns arnt that good he is in a better situation now.
I think Bryant is excellent value for where he is going in most leagues. He should be the #1 WR in Cleveland, and could have a break-out year on a team that will be trailing a lot of games.
According to my cleveland sources, the guy seems solidly behind Northcutt in the CLE playbook at this point, but has more potential. Northcutt has had a better camp, is more proven, etc.
HOWEVER, do you really want D. Northcutt on your roster? I agree with the comments made here that Bryant may end up being the #1 guy in CLE and they WILL be trailing in a lot of games. He could end up being a great fill in WR for bye week problems. I grabbed him in final round of my draft.
ummm - i'm from cleveland and your cleveland sources are wrong...
dilfer has come out and said that bryant is the best WR he has ever played with, hands down (including D-Jax in seattle). he has said that it is his job to get the ball into antonio's hands as often as he can. dennis is explosive, but he is better suited as a #3 and is just holding down the fort until edwards can start.

(by the way, i watch 16 browns games a year)
I'm a Dallas fan, and I say this Cleveland citizen is correct. Bryant was heralded out of here to be our next Irvin... it was the confrentation with Tuna that sent him packing... in fact, he was just starting to click with our offense when he left...
it is a shame he left, but I wish him well in Cleveland. Since he is on the WW in many leagues now, pick him up... He's also worth a late round draft pick, as he usually lasts that long.
