Hey, I want to see what everybody thinks of Steven Jackson? I think he could be a top 10 running back this year? He looks phenomenal this preseason...what does everybody else think?

Take it from a Rams fan....

Steven Jackson will be great when he has the ball in his hands...but the Rams are still going to throw the ball A LOT. Also, don't forget there's a first ballot hall of famer right behind him.

I knew when I saw Stephen Jackson run the ball for the first time last year that this guy is going to be amazing. The problem is, he is in St. Louis. I firmly believe that if he was in a more run-oriented offense, (someone like the Jets) he would be a top 5 RB this year. However, he is not, so I think 12-15 is a more reasonable expectation. He WILL have a very nice YPC though.

yeah he looked pretty impressive against the lions the other night. ( i know thats not sayin much) I really like him this year as a third rb. im targeting him in the late second or early third round. Right now he is like RB13 or 14 for me. Like everyone else has said though his carries will be limited. With Faulk there along with all the passing that the rams do i dont think he will get enough carries to have a chance to be a number 1 fantasy back.

No offense, but if you are targetting him as a RB3 why would you draft him in the second round?

I like Jackson but hate that Faulk will be in on third down.

Jackson will be great. I don't think Faulk takes much away from him. He'll only be in on 3rd down if it's a definite passing situation. If it's 3rd and less than 5, I think Jackson will still stay in the game.

I get you Az, I'm just sayin' that no matter how much talent Jackson has he'll probably be under-utilized by ol' Mikey.
