anyone have any thoughts on this? i don't think there is a single standout person this year. i believe ronnie brown was the best RB to come out, but if he shares time with williams, that would hurt his chances. maybe jj arrington if things come together well for him. i haven't been overly impressed, though.

...i think i'm liking matt jones. he looked really good in preseason and you gotta think he is going to be their top red zone target. i think my darkhorse is ryan moats on philly (contingent upon westbrook getting hurt early - may or may not happen).

anyone else ???

Well i think this is a 2 horse race between JJ Arrington and Caddy Williams.

They are the only 2 at the moment who look like they are gonna get the opportunity.

I doubt there will be anyone even close to the likes of Ben Roethlisberger this year or Michael Clayton.

Dark Horses:

Mark Clayton (if Boller really just needed a legit target and it wasnt actually that hes a crap QB [unlikely])

Kyle Orton: If he can make the bears a 6-8 win team hes a defintate chance.

...Orton may be a good pick. I'm just not sold on either JJ or Caddy. Time will tell, I guess...

Cadillac

He has the talent and the opportunity to shine this year. JJ I think will struggle since he doesn't look ready yet. Also the ARZ O-line has looked horrible in the preseason.

My sleeper pick would be Braylon Edwards. He should be starting over Northcutt by week 4.

I know it won't happen because he doesn't play the impact positions, but that huge OT the Saints drafted, Jammal Brown. From what little I've seen of him this exhibition season I could see Deuce gaining close to 1,000 yds before getting touched just by following this dude's blocks. Devestating run blocker.

Since they never pick a lineman, I'll say Ronnie Brown. Saban likes hard running backs and will piece together a good enough O-line to give this cat 1,200 yds and 8 TD. Ricky will be a super sub type.
