Who are the best sleepers or "value" picks that nobody is talking about? Everyone is seem to be focusing on guys like kerry collins, carson palmer, mike anderson/bell, lamant jordan. These guys will be the focus on draft day since they are talked about so much on websites and in magazines and will no doubt be drafted high (or higher than usual).
So who are the guys that will be sleepers or value picks like those guys but who aren't talked about as much, so as a result, you can probably get them in a later round and get good value for them?
Galloway. If he can stay healthy - he'll put up better numbers than Clayton. Also read today that he'll be returning punts (spliting duty on that)...so if your league awards return yardage, that may be a little extra bonus. For a couple years now in Tampa (and before than in Oakland), Gruden offenses have had #1 receivers who post really good numbers. All of Clayton's would have gone to Galloway last year...
...does he get it back this year?
No sleeper comes without risk...but there is a proven trend on that team. Also, Galloway has a trend of his own...but we'll hope that one is broken.
Damn - I just used 'Broken' and "Galloway' in the same sentence!!!
QB: McNair, Griese, Plummer
RB: C. Taylor, Willie Parker (talked about plenty around here though), William Green, Ryan Moats, Ricky Williams
WR: T. Taylor, Coles, Stallworth
TE: Heap, Bubba
He broke out last year and if not for the injury could have easily had close to 10 TD's. He has great chemistry with Collins and Moss will be getting double teamed. I still think the jury is out on Porter too.
just to say, i'm not really talking about here (although I hope that my fellow leaguemates don't come here), i'm talking about mags and other sites in general.
