Kitna to Bears?

Any truth to this, or nothing but rumor? I'm especially interested since I just picked up KO off the WW. Anyone heard anything concrete about this? Thanks!

kitna sounds like kittner spoken in a northeast coast dialect. maybe someone overheard a conversation that included an east coaster and interpreted the news as pertaining to kitna.

or something like that. back to work.

I think we're going to go with Orton. Make or break, Orton will be the guy.

Not like anyone would expect the bears to win this year...why not take the year to develop Orton? :-?

I'm hoping to catch lightning in a bottle... Orton was a talented hot college prospect whom some NFL teams soured on after a somewhat shaky senior season, thus dropping him below a number of other QBs in the draft. I seem to remember the same thing happening to a fellow named Dan Marino at Pitt lo those many years ago... :-?

Might as well use Orton in 05' to get Leinart in 06'.

Now that their going to give Orton a shot, it seems unlikely.
