Arnaz Battle

Is he a legit sleeper? He's the "Z" receiver, same position as Rice and T.O. when they were prime and they say despite the depth chart in the West Coast offense the "Z" is usually the first option.

Good thread there J. I would like to point out that Lloyd and Morton are playing the same position so if anyone loses catches, more than likely it would be Lloyd. There's already a bit of handwriting on the wall in SF as Battle has had a very nice preseason and has been pretty much that main target in the WR corps. I wouldn't be surprised at all if he is the #1 target in SF this year and he should be far more consistent than Lloyd in that role.

It's my belief that Arnaz has a 99.9% chance of posting more fantasy points than either Lloyd or Morton.

Why? The same reason Antwaan Randel El was very productive last year.

Punt and kick returns.

They've been looking for another option, but the SF roster is so poor there isn't one.

There is no reason to think that even with SF's poor defense, that Arnaz is going to post less return numbers than last year. So you add 500 return yards (not mentioning the 1 return TD last year) on top of what he's going to get in receiving on Offense and you've got a pretty solid 1000 yard+ guy.

Arnaz may have a year like Antwaan did last year (1400+ yards + 3 TD's) but he'll definitely post up consistent numbers week to week. 1200 yards total + 5-7 td's I think is what's he's going to be at when the year closes.

Antwaan on the other hand is going to be a monster this year being a featured receiver and Punt/Kick returner with Pittsburgh's Def forcing many kicks. Easily one of the top fantasy receivers this year in my opinion. Antwaan over H. Ward easy.
