I agree with the above post. I can't see how Davis will stay healthy. Foster has to take that job at a certain point.

Davis is, in my mind, a 4th Rounder at the earliest. The problem is, if you don't also have Foster you could very easily find yourself with a 4th Round Bench-Warmer.

I still think that's too early. I'd say more like 6-7 round. Actually I think I'd let somebody else take him...just my thought.

Judging by some of the posts here I think people are trusting Davis a little too much. My worries are fairly obvious: his team status is shaky with a talented RB in Foster competing for playing time, and he is old and fragile after having gone through a lot of work of the years and injuries as of late.

I'll pick Davis off the waiver wire... that's about it.

He's a starting RB in the NFL. There are only 32 of those, so he's certainly draftable. I picked him up in the 10th round and feel I got good value there. This is pretty much the same thing people were saying about Mike Anderson a few weeks ago. 31 years old, coming off knee surgery, sure to lose the job to the younger "more talented" back, etc. etc. Only time will tell.

I took Davis in the 9th rd of a 10 team draft and most of the people in my league thought I took him too early. Lee Suggs went in the 6th round and R Droughns went the pick before I took Davis.

I thought I got good value here.

I had my draft a week ago and most people still didnt believe that davis was the starter
i got him in the last round (12 team, 14 rnds)
i feel pretty good about that pick
life is like a box of chocolates. . .

I think he's a 10th Round kinda pick. In my 12 man league, I just snagged him off of the wire.
