Michael Jenkins?

Postby Boone » Fri Sep 02, 2005 10:42 pm

Now that Peerless Price has been waived by Atlanta...looks like Jenkins will be the #1 WR for the Falcons (I know Crumpler is Vick's favorite target).
Should I pick him up as a 3rd or 4th WR? Our 12 team league starts two.

Should I drop Tyrone Calico for Michael Jenkins?

I wouldn't, only because TEN is gonna be throwin' the ball a helluva lot more than ATL. (No Defense will do that for ya.)

That's no indictment of Jenkins, I'm a Buckeyes fan, and lemme tell ya, the kid can PLAY.

God Bless the Gulf Coast.

It's a tossup between Jenkins and Calico....personally, I'd go with Jenkins (due to Calico's injury history and the fact that he has to compete with the other Tenessee WRs)....

I really like both recievers, they have pretty good upside. I would still rather have Calico because TEN is going to be throwing for their lives out there. But again I like both, thats why I have both :D

Is Calico the only person you can drop to get Jenkins?? I just picked up Jenkins and I think he's gonna have a nice season so if you can pick him up go for it.

I like Jenkins over Calico. The Falcons are big beliviers in Jenkins---it is this faith that made them finally dump Price.

I like Jenkins over Calico. Jenkins has proven he can play and he's got Vick's trust as another viable receiver. I think Jenkins and Crumpler will be getting a lot of balls thrown their way this season.

I like Calico but his problem with injuries makes me leery of taking him.

If Schuab was QB in ATL, I'd pick up Jenkins in a heartbeat. And for that matter, I'd pick up Price if he were there.

DON'T MISJUDGE ATL'S RECEIVERS. The problem is not Price, or Jenkins, or Dez... Vick is the vampire sucking the blood from his reeivers...
