Don't get me started on racism and prejudice. It's a two way street.
Scholarships is all you can come up with? You're telling me it is racist to white people that there are "black only scholarships"? Lmao, whatever man....
Is it racist if there is a "White Entertainment Channel", a white only scholarship, or a white-only valedictorian (my high school also has a "black valedictorian" to go along with a regular one.) I would say that is the very definition of racism, as it is excluding a group (in this case, whites, Asians, etc) solely because they are white, Asian, etc.
Do you guys lose sleep over this? Race plays apart in everyday life. There will never be a racist free America. Sweetness - I bet that 99% of the time, the validictiorian is white or Asian. So who cares?
I don't lose sleep over it. I'm just saying that a black only scholarship is essentially the very definition of segregation or racism. And yes, most of our valedictorians are white (not too many Asians in our school). But Grant Hill (didn't go to my school, just an example ) was black, an outstanding bball player, and the valedictorian of his high school. He didn't need a "black only valedictorian". I'm not going to continue this because this is a slippery slope that will eventually lead into a thread lock.
Being a canadian (actually a Torontonian) this is how some of us perceive americans,,,,,racist,,,its a shame we think that way,,,we see ya'll segregated swallowed in HATE.
now before some of you reply to this saying "your not like this" I am not saying you are,,,it is a generalization of your people by some of our people. If anyone has ever been to Toronto you would understand why we think this. I've seen the brutal segregation in Santee South Carolina, Detroit, Buffalo, Brooklyn and Iowa.
I am pretty sure you guys have some thoughts about us, its all good its only natural.
anyhow this is my thought but I know that most here (especially the fellas I shoot the breeze with) are not like this, atleast appear this way.
God Bless those in Miss. and Louisiana

It doesn't help that our president doesn't care about black people.

Man, where did you see "brutal segregation" in Iowa? What is "brutal segregation" anyway?
