Everybody is talking about either Jimmy or Matt, have you guys forgetten about Reggie? I mean Matt might be pretty good but I really believe that Reggie is gonna do some damage in JAX. I'm just saying that I'd rather own Reggie then Matt or Reggie then Jimmy fantasy wise.

Jimmy will be fine...., and if he ain't that's what the WW is for, where WRs grow from nobodys into somebodys.

How Many People here at the cafe grabbed Lee Evans (or even M. Muhammad for that matter) off the wire last season?

I have him as my #3 in one of my leagues, and I'm not sweatin'. When it comes to "put up or shut up" J. Smith has always been a "put up" kinda guy.

by november, reggie and matt will be starting. i don't think people are forgetting about him - it is jimmy that is in question. del rio really called him out. now that could be for motivation - but, as noted above, for the team that led the league in dropped passes...i would imagine all of the WR's will be on a very short leash should that trend continue.

Reggie Williams isnt ready. They admitted he wasnt ready last yr and he has had an extremely difficult time adjusting to the NFL game. This preseason hasnt changed that and it appears more and more he could be a big bust. You have to understand that I was very big on Reggie last yr and again this yr until I looked closer into the situation. Matt Jones has been getting reps with the first team much more than Reggie has been from what I have read and saw. Again, I started out thinking Matt Jones was the definition of hype, but after looking closer it appears he really is the real deal and JAX will go to him deep and in the red zone much more than I thought they would this early in his career. JAX will throw much more than they did last yr and Im calling at least 3-4 long passes to Jones a game. He is the home run hitting WR for JAX now.

The thing is - this is a complete reversal to what I thought would happen 3 months ago. Had you talked to me then I would have told you Reggie Williams is the sleeper in JAX and Matt Jones would be lucky to get any playing time at all. Watching what has transpired this preseason has changed my mind - Reggie seems to be a bust and Matt Jones will clearly be targeted more frequently than Reggie.

I am not concerned about JSmith - he still represents very good value in fantasy drafts as he regularly goes around the 7th rd as a #3 WR.

Nice flipflop CB ... you're coming around ;-)
I've heard somewhere (can't remember) that Williams had trouble learning the plays last year. The Jags won't have that problem with Jones.
