Bout time! Not that I think this is good news, or like I was waiting for it to happen, it's just that my gov't teacher last semester predicted summer.

She would always talk about how surprised she was that he was still there despite how sick he was.

Didn't see this coming before the last election? They were talking about it a lot...the winner was probably going to have to appoint at least one if not two justices.

He did a good job and served out his term to the best of his abilities. RIP man.

yeah i remembered hearing about it but after he decided not to retire i thought it meant his health was improving and he might hold out for a while... oh well, at the rate its taking to approve john roberts bush might not get a chance after all

This guy lasted forever... appointed by Nixon, served during the Roe v. Wade case. The last time I saw him he looked in pretty bad shape. It seems by the time the Bush administration is over he'll have had his fair share of appointees to leave a legacy behind.
