Please tell me there's a story behind these things...they are absolutely hideous. If anyone can find a picture, post one so others can see the monstrosity.

I heard them say on the telecast that they were throwback helmets, so hopefully they wont wear them for any other game.

Those are still ugly for throwbacks, PSU has throwbacks every game and no one comments ;-)

Yeah, it was because this was the first game since the renovations at Camp Randall Stadium were completed. They had to renovate Camp Randall because of health codes and stuff like that, the stadium would shake back and forth when they played "Jump Around".Calhoun sure had himself one hell of a day. If we keep winning, I don't mind if they keep wearing them.
