The draft clock is ticking, you need a 2nd RB, two names go back and forth in your head, Clinton Portis or Julius Jones.

Who do you take?

A) Clinton Portis - Questionable offense, lack of td opportunities, but is no doubt the focal point of a run oriented offense and has had huge (controversial) success in the past

or

B) Julius Jones - Untested, possible fluky 2004 success, A-train might be stealing some carries, but monster upside, some have him pegged for 1700 yards and double digit td's.

Portis. More consistent and will be better this year.

his schedule is VERY easy. gibbs changed the offense to better match his skills. their offensive line is much better than last year (there were a lot of injuries there). JJ has been hit by nagging injuries throughout his college and NFL career.

portis will have a bounce-back year. he probably won't put up the same numbers he did in denver again...but they'll be much closer to that then last year.

Portis is more of a safer pick, imo. JJ is more risky. Take clinton here cuz he won't bust, but if you're feeling gutsy take JJ

Portis was a bust last year because people took him as their #1. He is an excellent #2 back this year.

I was a downer on Portis until I saw him in pre-season play. Take that with a grain of salt but the Redskins O-line looked very good against the Pittsburgh D. Plus Portis has elite speed so I'd expect a few huge TD runs. Put him at 1,500+yds and hovering around double digit TDs this year. I like Portis better. JJones should do very well also. I don't think you'll hurt yourself either way.

Portis si a freakin' monster this year! If you don't already know he added 20 pounds of muscle! The guy already was solid as hell. Now he is just huge! I saw him in the preseason game, WOW! I would take him as #1 and he is better than JJ by a pretty big gap!
