Need trade advice F.Taylor & Owens for Holmes & Conw

I have just been offered Fred Taylor and Terrell Owens
for Priest Holmes and Jerry Rice.

I think I should jump on it!!

Any thoughts

no dont do it, priest is the man. He is the top fantasy back right now and doesnt look like he is slowing down. keeping him is a must!!!!!!!

Holmes is too good this year.

It was a very tempting offer though. Owens and the 49ers will turn it around soon and Taylor(I think will stay healthy all year) will get very good numbers

I agree with everyone here. Holmes is just to damn good and with Taylor's injury history, it's too much of a risk. Owens is nice but not quite enough to make this one go through.

You know, I'm kind of wondering if Taylor will really sustain an injury since this is a contract year. Yes, he's every fantasy owner's nightmare. You build your team around this stud, then he gets banged up and is out for the year. However, if you can live with that risk and pickup TO, who's ready to just get things started, then maybe you look at getting rid of the best fantasy RB in the game right now (P. Holmes). Rice will give you second string numbers, but just think about getting two number one's for a 1 & 2.

Food for thought. Now, if it were me, I'd keep the stud and old man. I can't live with the fear of Taylor going down. I've seen it ruin two team the last two seasons.

I can see your dilemma here. Owens name alone can get your thoughts going in different directions and if Freddy Taylor wasnt know as "Fragile" then I'd say jump on it brother.
But, the hard facts are: Priest Holmes is the man, i picked him up last year and people laughed. But, Holmes has proven himself as a tough, durable, little S.O.B.
Freddy might stay healthy this year, but that is a gamble. I dont want to steer you wrong here, Taylor is going to have a hell of a season, depending on his health. There is no doubt that he is probably one of the most gifted backs to ever play the game, but just his history makes him a gamble.
Give it some time, both Holmes and Rice are putting up better numbers than Owens and Taylor right now. Though, Owens would be a nice WR to have, giving up the top Fantasy RB isn't justifyable.

The only thing I have to say about Holmes is that he sucked big time in the first three games last year. Then I dumped him and the rest was history... and so was my team. LOL.
