I could be wrong but you may very well get some cranky moderator telling you that this is the wrong forum. Not for talking about discussing which defense to start -- though there might be a separate forum for that too.

It was Plindsey, you're going to have to ask him. I'm sure his lists won quite a few leagues for some people.

Yeah, this is the place for the Defensive Rankings...it's more strategy than anything else.

That said...I don't think Plindsey likes to start that up until about Week 5 because you just don't know how teams score and how defenses allow scores and turnovers until they have played enough games to have a good data set.

You could probably run the numbers on the last 4 games played, but it's still more of a crap shoot.

The best bet is to go with teams playing teams you feel will be pretty bad, like SF, CLE, HOU...guys like that. Let me dig up the formula for you. Someone will probably be able to do the numbers from that.

Plindsey's list is awesome! I do however have 1 problem with it. He always posts it after he picks up his defenses in his leagues.

I think I remember him saying he will do it again this year but like previously stated, he usually waits for a few weeks of the season to get underway.

That bein' said I surely hope he graces us by doin' it again this year. (It's not like he gets paid to do it....Maybe there's an idea....if all else fails...bribery.)
