Need Trade Advice: Troy Brown for....

Postby Murphy's Law » Fri Sep 27, 2002 8:26 am

I have the following trade on the table from another team:

I trade Troy Brown for Keyshawn Johnson and Jonathan Wells

I'm pretty shallow at RB, I have M. Faulk, Thomas Jones and Moe Williams. My ( current receivers are Eric Moulds, Troy Brown, Ike Hilliard and Quincy Carter.

I don't know if Keyshawn will ever be as good a fantasy player as he can be a real football player.

I could also shop Brown for Antowain Smith who's riding the bench on another team.

Any advice is appreciated. :-o

I wouldnt do the trade, you look great at WR's, but you need a good RB, if you give up Brown at least do it for a good RB
good luck

Keyshawn is good but Brown is better choice at WR (and not a head case). Jonathan Wells doesnt nearly make that an equal trade; Hou will probably go 2-14. I'd hold out for a better RB. Dont take Antowan. In my league, I was offered Curtis Martin for Brown which I am considering. Anybody have any comments on that? I have Ricky Williams, Eddie George T.J Duckett as RBs and Mould, Hines Ward, Stallworth and Brown as WRs. WRs seem deep this year, but RBs are hard to come by. I'd like some injury insurance.
