If you scan your computer for viruses, is that good enough?

I have had decent results with AVG anti-virus and it is free... Google for it...

I'll agree here ... I run it ... along with Adaware and SB S&D on about a hundred machines and have had good luck.

Also, one last question. If you download one program, will it catch things that others don't?

Right now I'm running McAfee, Ad-Aware, and Spybot. I'm just wondering if I should bother with more anti-virus/spyware programs.

No, I do it every day but the viruses keep coming back. One time I scanned and it couldnt get rid of 32 viruses.

I should add this too - do not run more than 1 Anti-Virus program. They will conflict and I hear is isn't good.
