It depends on how much value you put into his 133 yards rushing last night. I suppose that 5 INTs for the season is still impressive (or at least respectable), but last night's game (passing) was hard to watch. I've never really thought he was a heisman canidate, but that's due to the fact that he doesn't put up 300yds or 4 TDs a game.

How about Brady Quinn after that video game performance? Granted, it's against BYU, but he's put up some real good numbers this year for a rejuvenated Irish offense.

As of now, I'd say Bush - Leinart - Young with Quinn on the verge of being in contention, but not there yet. If he can put up 250 and 3 TDs in a win over Tennessee in two weeks, that picture may change a bit.

- Leinart moved past Young this week IMO with his almost perfect (20-26, 201 yards, and 4 TD) performance this week.

Quinn is having a great year but losing to USC knocks him out of contention even though he out played Leinart.

I don't know how you can say that, considering the Trojans were heavily favored and Quinn kept ND in the game. He definitely didn't lose it for them, so I don't think he'll be penalized for the loss as he played a great game, the D just let them down at the end (vintage ND).
