Putting Pennington in trades...for psychological reasons?

I gave this idea to my friend, and it seemed to help one of his trades get accepted...

Since Chad Pennington is out, owners might be a little over-anxious to get rid of him, let alone to get something in return for him. So, when trading with a team who has Pennington, put him in the deal. The owner might get excited because he could assume that he's ripping you off by dealing Pennington. If the trade isn't looking definite, ASKING for Pennington may just help the trade go through.

It won't work with everyone, but this little tactic may just help a trade go through.
