Apparently ( I wasn't able to watch the Broncos/Hawks game...thank god)...

Shawn Springs was taken off the field and received upper body x-rays.

Any one else think it might be time to reduce the preseason to two or three weeks? Injuries are going to happen, whether or not the game counts. I think fans would rather watch their favorite players in a game that means something... :-?

I agree. Never have been a fan of preseason games, especialy since they cost the same as the regular season games.
I say make the preseason two games or three if you make one at a nutral location (Hall Of Fame Game). Take out the bye weeks and the extra week before the Super Bowl, and make it a 20 game regular season.
