Superdome could be history!?

Presumably, the stadium is insured up the wazoo for a situation like this... of course, the insurance companies are all going to end up filing bankruptcy, but I just think the media would skewer the Saints for leaving the city permanently after such a disaster. Maybe my perception of this is all wrong, but I just don't see a scenario in which they don't make a triumphant return - even if it means a season or two in San Antonio or Baton Rouge.

most buildings are insured against wind damage from hurricanes, but not flood damage. not sure of the dome's status, but insurance companies will be in plenty good shape once everythingg is figured out.
