Drew Bennett? Tyrone Calico?

Postby Warpigs » Sat Aug 30, 2003 8:23 pm

Would love to pick up one of these two guys from waivers, but will either post enough to start for me? I have a third WR spot I currently start Boerigter in, but considering McNair needs to throw to someone besides Mason, and Bennett is such a nice big target, is he worth picking up? I love Calico's game-breaking potential, but being so young, he'll also have growing pains and need some polish, won't he? I currently have S. Moss, Pinkston, Ferguson, Walker, Boerigter all fighting for that third WR spot

well, I don't think either one of those guys shoould warrant much attention. I bet either Walker or Ferguson will be very droppable in the next few weeks.

If you wanted a sleeper, there is a rumor going around that Bobby Shaw has earned the no. 2 WR spot in Buffalo over Josh Reed.

Looking for a sleeper on the Tiatans, look at McCareins. Bennett
has been named #2, but I expect McCareins to see a lot of
action, He has great speed and size(6'2"). Look for Bennett to
be more of a possession type receiver, Justin is more likely
to be a big play TD kinda guy. Calico may really contribute the
second half of the season.
