draft rounds schedule

i was wondering if there is a rounds schedule were you don't just go 1-12 and 12-1 and back and forth? isn't there a schedule or formula were ever team gets a first round pick?

I would assume that you meant to say every team gets the first pick of the round. If you didn't mean that, well, the snake draft does allow every team to have a first round pick.

Personally, a snake draft is the only type of draft I have done. An auction draft would make every player available to every owner, which seems more fair. I mean, let's face it, in a 12 team league wiht pick #10, you know you have no shot at LT or Rickey.

Another option would be to rerandomize the draft order after every two rounds.

or you could use some other advanced formula: like, you have 10 teams with 20 picks each, makes 200 picks.

every team has to reach exactly or more than 1005 in total pick numbers, so you could have picks 1-10 but would have the last 10 picks, too

Hang on - pick 1-10 plus 191-200 are worth a whole lot more than an even distribution...
