Kordell Stewart... Start him, or dump him?

There seems to be a bit of controversy over the Quarteback situation in Pittsburgh. I read that Cower would be ready to pull Kordell if he plays poorly. This doesn't seem to be a good bet for me to start him as my backup for Garcia who has a bye, and I have him also starting for Manning in another. I can pick up Miller, Brad Johnson, or Mark Brunell in one league, but I can only pick up Miller and Johnson in the second league that I have Sterwart starting for Manning.

Should I stick it out with Kordell who usually puts up good fantasy number, or should I dump him for Miller or Brunell who have job security...

Hold on to Stewart and see how he does this week. Miller and/or Brunell should be available on the waiver wires for awhile I'd think.

yeah, dump kordell for brunell in that one league and hold onto him in the other league for insurance just in case he post's good numbers with his job on the line.

Thanks a lot for all the help... I did pick up Brunell. It would be hard to pass him up when he plays the jets this week. And I still do have faith in him so I haven't done anything with him in the other league.

Agree with Jay. The fact that he may lose his job to Tommy Maddox should tell you something. Stewart may put up some OK numbers in the fantasy world but, you have to take into account that, as far as the NFL goes, the guy stinks. He could lose his job at anytime. As a matter of fact, he should have lost it 2 years ago.
