Drew Bledsoe is also giving 2500 dollars per touchdown he throws this year to the Salvation Army...
dallascowboys.com wrote:# Cowboys quarterback Drew Bledsoe announced Thursday that he will make a $2,500 donation to The Salvation Army for every touchdown pass he throws during the 2005 NFL Season. "My thoughts and prayers are with all of the victims of Hurricane Katrina," Bledsoe said. "All Americans have an obligation to help these people rebuild their lives. I know the Dallas Cowboys have enjoyed a very strong, long-standing relationship with The Salvation Army, and as a member of the Cowboys' family I wanted to join in that support." . . . Bledsoe has thrown 221 career touchdown passes in 12 years, including 20 last season.
too bad that's not per time sacked... then he could afford to buy everyone in Lousiana and Mississippi a new home... and have enough left over to buy everyone in Ontario a puppy. And then fund the International Space Station. A nice gesture all the same... nice to see its coming from my team.
