Should I keep to defenses ?

Postby xbird » Mon Sep 01, 2003 11:09 am

In 2 of my leagues I got Tampa in one and Miami in the other.
Since they both have a bye in week 4, I decided to pick up another d for that week. Much to my surprise, the Patirots were
available, and I grabbed them. The Patriots have been mentioned
as a d that may be very strong this year. Would it make sense
to keep them instead of a 5th WR ?

I can’t think of any reason to keep 2 as long as there are defenses left in the F/A pool, which there should always be. It is tough to figure which Ds will excel in ff but the Bucs are one of the top Ds out there and I assume that you would play them over the Pats every week, so why bother taking up a spot for a D you only plan to use once? Grab a prospect WR of RB. IMO
