I don't know if any of you saw the end of the Denver/Seattle game...when Holmgren finally let Dilfer have a seat, but it was the first time I got to see Seneca Wallace out there. Don't get me wrong. He made rookie mistakes. His passes were not always on the mark. He did not have Joe Montana's poise....
But, all of my hunch flags went up anyway...I like this kid a lot. He looks smooth...not Randall Cunningham smooth, but more like Joe Montana smooth. If he can work on his touch, he could be very good. The quick drop is just that, and it is confident and sure. He also delivers the ball decisively...none of this rookie standing around in the pocket with a glazed over look. The Holgren coaching him along....wow. The sky is the limit for this kid. Did anyone else see what I saw???
