Saints still Looking for Backup RB.

Saints' officials pursued a trade for Steelers RB Chris Fuamatu-Ma'afala over the weekend, but an agreement was never reached. The teams were discussing a sixth-round pick before the Steelers terminated his contract Sunday. The Dolphins released RB Robert Edwards, who was also the subject of recent trade talks with Saints. GM Mickey Loomis said Ki-Jana Carter might be re-signed if another back is not acquired.

that actually kind of suprised me. i thought carter looked good in the preseason game last week. but if i were to guess, FU would prolly be the better backup to deuce than kjc.

well, from a fantasy perspective it's good to see a team rely on a single back... but having no backup works for a position like kicker (as the Rams have proven) but no backup RB??? :-o
