Drop D.Bates?

I just dropped K.McCardell and added FA Steve Smith.

While I was there I noticed that Eddie Kennison, MarTay Jenkins & Az-Zahir Hakim were listed as FA's.

Sooooo... I was wondering if it would be worth dropping Bates in favor or any 3 of these guys and if so, which one?

This is mainly for depth and maybe later in the season as I already have pretty good WR's (Chambers, Thrash, R.Smith, Stallworth, A.Davis & now S.Smith).

kennison is not much, but neither are those other guys, so just stay put

With Schroeder hurtin' Hakim is the man in Detroit.He's so far posted better #'s than the others you mentioned.

Also I've heard-"Bates has lost his starting job to Derrick Alexander, according to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune. The paper reported that the team needed to get more speed on the field and that Alexander has looked good in practice during the past couple weeks."

The first mistake you made was dropping McKardell for Steve Smith, you shoulda dropped Davis.
But, since you weren't on top of your game, I'd select Martay Jenkins. Kennison is inconsistant and Az Hakim has Harrington.
