Has LaDainian Tomlinson every had a game in the NFL where he hasn't had a reception? He's only had 18 touches I thought he'd be getting a lot more...

Keyshawn is looking good but it's only the first game. I'll be curious if this trend continues or fades like last year. Crayton has looked equally as good but where the hell is Witten and Glenn?????

Witten's numbers for the game are really surprising.....

I don't see Price passing Crayton on the depth chart. Crayton looked superb.

We checked out the training camp this year and I loved what I was seeing of some of the younger players, Crayton included. Both Jones and Ware looked like demons. Gods, I LOVE this team.

That beside the point, I had the horrid misfortune of long ago made plans taking place on this sunday, of all the friggin days in a year, and I missed nearly half of the game. My plans required us to be driving while the game ran so here we are, me and a girlfriend, driving aimlessly around Concord, calling every bar on a pre-printed internet listing, searching for the Dallas game.

What we found was probably the most awesome sportsbar I've ever been to. I can't recall the name now but the bar is on a golf course and they have a Gang of TVs - 3 outside, 7 or so inside, two of which are big screens while the others are sufficiently over par.

They were showing the game on 2 TVs, one being a big screen. I would just like to say, in case any of you are familiar with that area, that the energy in that bar was just amazing. I've been in sports bars before, and have managed a bar for some time, but the atmosphere there was just great. My little area in California needs something like that.

anyway, watching the game there was Grand. I was a little disappointed in Witten but I have a feeling he won't be as spectacular this year 9hope I'm wrong, though), and I hated that Meshawn was having a better day than Glenn (personal preference). Crayton looks so promising it makes me giddy. And you gotta love that last defensive drive by the boys (and the effort by SD, my gads). I was terrified of the amount of time Brees had left to play in that game. Glad to see our D do its job.
