I wouldn't say that everyone wants to "jump off the wagon". In fact, most on this thread suggest that a gradual decline could be on the horizon, which is much more subtle than a dramatic "jump".
I know that I certainly think both the team and the running game is on the decline. But there is a lot of gray area in-between "great" and "stink". I think the game against Miami is more of a trend than an anomaly. Sure M. Andersen or T. Bell will have a several good games here and there, but overall "the Denver running back" might not be as good as the Pittsburgh back or the KC back.
Another thing -- a trend that we can pin down with much more certainty -- is that Denver looks to going the way of RBBC. Last year, several players had good games, but Shanahan had the quick hook. It is becoming more and more difficult to tell who is going to run the ball in Denver and for how long that back will be in the game. This, of course, causes fantasy players (like me) fits.
