Wow, one bad game and everyone wants to jump off the wagon. Relax. Alex Gibbs wasn't there last year and they still chewed up the yardage. They turned out great numbers in the preseason as well. All will be ok with Denver's run game.

I wouldn't say that everyone wants to "jump off the wagon". In fact, most on this thread suggest that a gradual decline could be on the horizon, which is much more subtle than a dramatic "jump".

I know that I certainly think both the team and the running game is on the decline. But there is a lot of gray area in-between "great" and "stink". I think the game against Miami is more of a trend than an anomaly. Sure M. Andersen or T. Bell will have a several good games here and there, but overall "the Denver running back" might not be as good as the Pittsburgh back or the KC back.

Another thing -- a trend that we can pin down with much more certainty -- is that Denver looks to going the way of RBBC. Last year, several players had good games, but Shanahan had the quick hook. It is becoming more and more difficult to tell who is going to run the ball in Denver and for how long that back will be in the game. This, of course, causes fantasy players (like me) fits.

Nobody's "jumping" off the wagon, just slowly strolling to towads the back.

long time, die hard bronco fan here & i think the original poster is
% 100 right. Denevr is fading, the whole orginization is in a HUGE downward spiral & going backwards, look at the team, their not any good, nest guy in offense is Rod Smith who is old , still good but old, the rest of the O stinks. even the D is overated & shannys time has passed

the O Line is alot weaker then years past & they lost their O line coach, denvers days of good backls mayb very well be over
SUPERBOWL , Who so start at Wide out ???? please help

The posters in this thread spouting doom and gloom over the Denver rushing attack in general, are exactly the types of owners I target in trades after week 1.

How many of you guys picked up Bledsoe off the waivers?
