14 - but it wasn't a speeding ticket. It was "Driving Too Fast For Conditions".
I snuck out a 1969 Mustang 390 GT that my older brother ordered and had waiting for him as soon as he got back from Viet Nam. Went down to the City Pool and picked up some babes and others and ended up hitting a tree that was right on the edge of the road later.
The cops came and it was a huge bummer.
My old man had the ass big time. I remember that later that day he had to drive me to football practice and he raised up and kicked me in the ass as we walked out the door. And he is a peaceful man
I ended up with my old mans lawyer down at court and he got me DTFFC instead of all the other crap I could have been charged with.
Take my word for it ... it could be worse

I got a warning and had to go to court when I was 15 with only a school permit. Had to write a 5 page paper on traffic laws and such. Haven't got caught since though...

Even though I drove insanely fast throughout my teenage years, I never got a speeding ticket. Mostly luck, partially because I was just alert and knew the areas where cops frequented, and would slam on my breaks if necessary before passing one.

One ticket for a noise ordinance, though, when I was 18, but that basically got dropped and I just had to go to a one hour driving class. I've gotten one ticket since.

29 and parking tickets only so far - lord knows I have lucked out of some pretty hefty speeding tickets through divine providence though. Stuff like some azzhole cutting me off and forcing me to slow down to the limit a few hundred yards before we clear a rise in the road with a speed trap on the other side, speed traps that are already full with offenders getting paperwork, etc.
