OK, so we've read about Chad Pennington's 6 fumbles in Week 1 over and over the last few days. Yes, he was inept Sunday, but was it entirely his fault?

SITUATION

QB lines up in the shotgun. The Center snaps the ball completely over the QB's head, shooting the ball 15 yards into the backfield. In the scramble for the ball, the Defense recovers the loose ball.

QUESTION

Is this a fumble credited to the QB? to the Center?

Does the DEF get credit for a forced fumble on this play?

Anyone know the accurate answers to these questions and can provide a link to substantiate? ( I don't know the answer, so this is not a trivia thread, I truly would like to know ).
