There's 10 people in the leauge, but I remember hearing hype that he could be a breakout TE this year. Also, Putzier is on FA too and I feel like I should pick at least one of them up, heap is my tight end. Would it be a bad idea by packaging heap with a receiver (jimmy smith, porter, boldin) for a top tier receiver? Then picking up one or both of these guys?

As long as Heap is healthy, he'll probably be much superior to Troupe. I'd probably sit tight with Heap, pick up Troupe, and then if Troupe does well package one of them in a trade. You do run the risk of Heap getting hurt but then you at least have Troupe to plug in.
It's still VERY early, but I think the buzz on him seems justified. I'm not in a great position to say cause I didn't see the TEN game, but McNair loves the TEs and he's gotten a lot of raves this summer.
Since TE is such a crapshoot and Heap has never really stayed healthy, if somebody gives you decent value in a Heap-involved trade, I'd take it and pick up Troupe.
... in my opinion, of course - but that should always go without saying.

Troupe does have a little competition with Kinney.

He is my fifth WR/TE in a league where TE's get double the points compared to WR's. I think he will be huge, to be honest, I plan on him being a smaller version of Antonio Gates last year. Who by the way was my 5th WR/TE in that same league. Ended up being in the top 3 in scoring.
