bench heap start wilcox

in case you didn't know, wilcox is the 2nd TE for the ravens. Coachbox.com reccommended that I bench heap, yet start wilcox. Cmon now. Heap doesn't suck all of a sudden because wright is in the game.

Lol...I thought Wilcox was a sleeper going into the season, but mainly for if Heap goes down...gotta love these "experts"

I said this on another forum, I think Heap is in trouble. It's not just that Wilcox had more than twice the number of looks it's that Heap looked like total crap. Heap has been a stud whenever healthy so he could easily rebound but from what I saw Sunday night I no longer consider him a must start. For now, if you have a better option I would consider benching the former stud.

fwiw, I would never, NEVER handcuff a TE. Not a big fan of handcuffing your own RBs unless there is a true stud in the wings so the thought of using a TE handcuff is pure lunacy to me.

To me, Wilcox reminded me of a young Pollard. This does NOT mean I would even consider starting him, let alone over Heap.

there are only a few must starts at TE, but most guys that can get you 40 or so yards remain a must start IMO. There just aren't many TEs that even get looks at all, so Heap is still top 10 and still a must start I'd say.
