Duce is a fine pro, when healthy. But Willie's got tools that Staley simply doesn't possess in his kit.

Why then has Duce Staley been a starter in the NFL for so long? I agree WIllie Parker has different tools, but not better. Against a depleted Titans defense, it's the playmaking ability of Parker that made him so great, but when the Steelers start players respectable defenses it's going to be Staley's technique that will warrant better numbers.

Primarily because of his ability to catch the football out of the backfield. Seriously, until last year, Staley had been for oh about 4 years McNabb's #1 WR. That is what kept him as the starter in Philly for so long.
