How do you define a successful team? Is it the modern New England Patriots? The old dynasty team in San Fran? What abouit the Pistons? Let me hear who you think defines a "successful team."

I believe the definition of a successful team, and franchise, is the New York Yankees. 26 World Championships since 1923 is pretty incredible

I think the New England Patriots epitomize what it means to be a successful TEAM.... It's one thing to go out and buy up all the talent out there and have success (see the New York Yankees).... It's an entirely different matter to go out and build a cohesive unit that works like a well oiled machine through shrewd personnel decision-making and premium coaching....

I think the Oakland As are extremely successful.

NE cannot be denied as being very successful, but I would also say that PHI is a very successful team too, just not quite as successful.
