Sep. 20 The knee injury that Curtis Martin (RB) NYJ suffered on Sunday is not expected to be serious enough to cause him to miss significant time, according to Newsday. However, his status is still uncertain for Sunday. "It's going to have to be something pretty tough mentally for him [to miss a game]," coach Herman Edwards said. "But I'm never going to put the player in harm's way."
No. Not yet, but it doesnt look good either way, I just traded Lewis and Engram for Martin and Ro. Williams, and The upcoming teams they play disgust me, either way i picked up blayloc but it dont look good, i think they will sit martin regardless or at least minimal carries.
Martin alerted team doctors to soreness in his knee yesterday, Edwards said. He had an MRI, the results of which were not disclosed. However, although the decision on whether Martin will play can't be made until he practices, the team is not overly concerned about his prognosis. That means it is likely that the MRI did not reveal any tears.

This situation =
Edit: Although now John Clayton is reporting that the MRI was negative and CuMar might play this week...
That's indeed great news, but I wouldn't expect Martin to get the 30+ carries we've been getting used to seeing these past couple of weeks. Nonetheless, that's great news.
