ok i just made probably a stupid trade... sold caddy and steve smith for j.lewis and t.holt. but something tells me lewis bounces back. with that D they should stay close in games. and i really think he'll be a big part of they're offense once it starts clicking a lil. or am i just wishful thinking?

Ravens: Possible return to I-formation could help Jamal 09/20/05 02:58 PM THE NEWS The Ravens spent their offseason focused on upgrading their passing game, operating under the assumption that their running game would be just fine. However, with just 90 rushing yards in two games this season—including a franchise-low 14 yards against the Titans Sunday—head coach Brian Billick told the Baltimore Sun it was "very possible" that the team would stop lining up a tight end in the backfield and return to using fullback Alan Ricard as a lead blocker. "With this bye week, Alan ought to be fully healthy," Billick added. "So that will be an asset that we'll have to utilize." Our View Ricard has been bothered by a calf injury, but more bothersome is the performance of Jamal Lewis and the Baltimore ground game. Billick said he and his staff believe Lewis is ready to handle a 25- or 30-carry workload, so expect a renewed commitment to the ground game when the Ravens return from the bye in week four.
well one reason i made the trade is because i already have Mcgahee, Dillon, K.Jones as my RB's so Lewis would be a Back up but now at WR i have TO,Holt,Clayton,Coles. so i really think i strengthend my starting lineup. but i have a feeling its gonna bite me in the arse when caddy runsf or like 1500/12 this season

Caddy doesn't have to be overrated for that to be a good trade. Jamal just has to play like he's capable. I think you're going to see him ramp it up starting week 4, and I think he'll be in standard Jamal form shortly thereafter.
Caddy's awesome. If he keeps it up, that's spectacular. But Jamal has the record to back it all up (oh... bad pun, sorry!)
I dont know about Lewis this year, if that offense cant move the ball effectively then they will always be behind and abandon the run, good thing I'm not a Lewis owner.
