Boldin vs. Fitzgerald

What is everyone's take on these two. Obviously, the Arizona passing game has improved with Warner. That is nice overall, but can either of these two be counted on for solid WR2 pointage on a weekly basis? Fitzgerald went off in week one while Boldin was barely thrown to. Last week, Boldin looked solid, while Fitz played second fiddle. Is this going to be the case overall -- one big one week, the other the next? Or will one emerge as a solid WR2 fantasy option?

IMO both are solid #2 options and they will border line avg #1 worthy....

yeah last week both had nice weeks. boldin had the better week but Fitz still put up 95 all purpose yards. You gotta like the wr situation in Arizona. They are both getting plenty of balls.

And that's after getting a fair amount of balls thrown his way. Trust me, Fitz is Denny's favored son.

yeah if i had to pick between the two Fitz would be the one, but Boldin should still put up solid WR2 stats with an occasional big game. Probably a little less consistent than Fitz but still a good start none the less.

HAHAHHAHAHAHA!!!!!!! I can so see that happening, as I've seen the Jerry Springer show numerous times out of boredom.

Yeah Warner is really taking it to the air. The amount of times he's throwing is just outrageous!!!

Fitzgerald was one of my favorite targets in this years draft, especially with how Boldin almost always went before him. He's going to see more than his fair share of opportunities, and judging from his performances so far, he'll make them count. Boldin will end up as the clear cut #2 WR, he'll do good for a #2 WR, but Fitz will have the featured role.

I gotta agree with Maddog.

Fitz is Dennys guy and when the dust settles I think his numbers will trump Boldins. I kinda think of Fitzgerald as Holt and Boldin as Bruce. Neither one a bad option, but Fitz will emerge as the big game threat. He is too gifted a receiver not to.
